Ricardo is an outstanding salesman. His position as CEO was continuously intermixed with being the engine of Sales and Business Development in companies like Unisys, Siemens, and Indra across many Lines of Business. His focus on high-tech in a rapidly-changing environment has enabled Ricardo to evolve at the speed of light commercializing hardware, software, consultancy, system integration, business process outsourcing, which have led to multi-million-dollar deals, mainly in Government, Transportation, and Defense. His resourcefulness and creativity to develop businesses from scratch has let Ricardo to cultivate many business relationships at all levels across South America.  He decided to join TheNextD in 2022 to have the opportunity to share his impressive experience with sellers and buyers who are eager to profitably grow their businesses.

Daniel G. Rodriguez

Services & Operations Partner

Daniel is a top-notch service leader. His position as VP of Customer Success and Professional Services was continuously combined with his passion to innovate and grow the total business through services in companies like Unisys, NCR, NEC, and his own consultancy firm back in 2001. His tenure as Professor at the University of Buenos Aires has allowed Daniel to become a talent scout and many of today’s leaders in top corporations started their professional careers as interns in organizations he has led. He has also sped up the growth of high-tech Managed Services, Network Operation Centers, and the associated Consultancy Practices, leaving his mark in all the companies he has worked for. A few years after founding TheNextD, the right moment had arrived to team up with partners like Ricardo and Sebastian, orchestrating together the strategy and the specialized practices to grow the business.

Sebastian C. Castillo

Livestock and Agriculture Business Development Partner

Sebastian is a brilliant and seasoned business executive in a young man’s wrapping. In his tenure as NCR VP LATAM Managed Services, he challenged his own organization to raise the bar and, in the process, not only increased the profitability of the business but also delighted his customers and turned them into fervent fans. A few years ago, he took over the family livestock and agricultural business, setting the journey to position his products in traditional and non-traditional markets such as in the Middle East. Running this business, he has learned how import the pragmatic use of the state-of-the-art technology is to effectively position great products in such competitive markets. After meeting and listening to many top leaders of renowned consultancy firms, he found in TheNextD the partner he was looking for and decided to invest in the company to make it his own technology arm. TheNextD is pleased to welcome Sebastian as a Partner and Leader of this Livestock and Agriculture Line of Business and Professional Service Practice. His own farm will be our Lab to put all the technology and applied Artificial Intelligence knowledge into action within this industry.

Matias Karlsson

Software Development & Artificial Intelligence, Global Practice Vice President

Matias is a seasoned Software Engineer, boasting over two decades of extensive experience in the field of computer science and technology. As a dedicated educator, Matias has lent his expertise to prestigious institutions such as Le Wagon and IAE (Universidad Austral), not only in his home country of Argentina, but also throughout the broader Latin American region. His passion for sharing knowledge has led him to become a sought-after speaker at various international conferences and events, where he regularly discusses cutting-edge topics in Artificial Intelligence. He worked for IBM, SAP, and Telecom, managing large-scale infrastructure projects, and effectively collaborating with diverse teams. This then led him to the path of being an entrepreneur and working with start-up companies, through which he has gained a deep holistic understanding of business processes, allowing him to view projects from a wider perspective and to contribute to their overall success. As Software Development & Artificial Intelligence Practice Vice President, he brings to TheNextD his wide-ranging experiences, combined with his commitment to education, coaching and skill development, becoming a valuable asset to lead a discipline that requires a blending of academic and market knowledge to design and implement second-to-none solutions.

Carlos Pradère

Technical Engineering & Deployment, Global Practice Vice President

Carlos is an Electronic Engineer with substantial experience in Information Technology throughout the years of working for both multinational companies such as Thomsom CSF, Unisys and as an entrepreneur for his own company. His passion to put electronics to the service of people has led him to be part of pragmatic and breakthrough projects like the design of devices for Time & Attendance, Access Controls Networks and CCTV Systems. He not only managed the technical teams of these innovative products, but also he rolled-up his sleeves and participated in their production lines, installation, and implementation. He has participated in projects throughout Latin America interacting with both small companies and global corporations. He joined TheNextD to lead the Technical Engineering and Deployment Practice, handling projects related to Digital Signage, Lighting, Video Security, Drones, and Simulation. His curiosity for technology united to his professionalism, ethics and commitment to make things happen has made him a great asset in the design of first-class and disruptive products that requires full interaction with business partners, innovative sellers around the world, his peers and associates of the other practices.
